GOLD RX is a complete air handling unit with a rotary heat exchanger, supply- and exhaust air fans, and filters. Optional configurations include top, side, or L connections. Standalone controls may also be networkable with a BMS. The RECOnomic heat exchanger attains a uniquely high energy efficiency thanks to a patented design with a turbulent flow in the air passages. The rotary heat exchanger is also available in epoxy-treated and RECOcorptic sorption-treated versions. The sorption version further increases energy efficiency by dehumidifying or recovering moisture depending on the conditions and needs. Carry-Over Control is a unique combination of purging sectors and controls that minimize the risk of leakage between the exhaust air and supply air to ensure that the building is always ventilated with fresh air. GOLD RX may also be applied as a DOAS unit, and HRV or an ERV. available with Passive House Institute (PHI) Certification and a Declare label.
